Obituary for Larson

Elnora L. Larson, 66, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 29, 2003. She is survived by her husband, Don Larson of the family home; sons, David Larson of Tucson, AZ and Shawn Larson and wife, Jenny of Rio Rancho; daughter, Nicole Sessions of Salt Lake, UT; grandson, Timothy Martellini; sisters, Barbara Hegman and husband, Glenn, Bonnie Follmar and Ruthann Gordon and husband, Trey. Mrs. Larson was preceded in death by her sons, Dennis and Douglas Larson and daughter, Lois Larson. Mrs. Larson was a member of Faith Chapel since the mid sixties and had a strong relationship with her Lord. She was involved in Church Choir and music was a big part of her life. Mrs. Larson is also remembered for her beautiful collection of dolls and the clothing she sewed for them. She also enjoyed sewing clothes for her family, and as a foster mother, she also would sew clothes for families who were in need. Mrs. Larson was also a lover of cats and has had several over the years. She was a longtime member and officer of the T.O.P.S. organization. Elnora was well loved by her many friends as well as by new acquaintances because of her quietly unassuming nature, disarming smile and terrific sense of humor. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 6, at 10:00 at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel with Nelson McBride officiating. Interment of cremains will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. The family wishes to thank the TOPS organization for their love and support.
