Obituary for Davis

Louise E. Davis, 76, born in Dean Lake, MO on September 2, 1926, and a resident of Albuquerque since 1937, died Saturday, March 29, 2003. She is survived by her daughters, Jessie B. Davis of Topeka, KS and Evelyn Brown of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Johnny Williams, Michael Williams and David Brown; three great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Carr of Reno, NV; brother, Donald Carr of California; and niece Patty Gallegos of Peralta. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husbands, Ed Davis and Clifford Elliott; brother, William J. Carr, daughter, Louise A. Davis; and grandchildren, Deana Brown, Rodney Williams and Janet Williams. She worked for 44 years with the Santa Fe Railroad in Albuquerque and retired in 1990. Mrs. Davis will be deeply missed by her family and her dear friends she had made during her life. Services will be held Thursday, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Interment will take place at 4:00 p.m., at Estancia Cemetery.
