Obituary for Davis

Barbara Colleen Davis, 73, born January 3, 1930, in Deming, New Mexico, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2003 after a 4 year battle with ovarian cancer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hildred Yearout and her father, Wayne Earl Yearout. She is survived by her second mother, Martha Yearout; husband, William Q. Davis; son, Wayne Davis and wife, Kathy of Albuquerque; son, Craig Davis and wife, Becky of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Cameron Wayne Davis of the US Navy; Donica Mae Long of Memphis, TN, Sean Michael Davis and Tyler Allen Davis of Albuquerque; two great-grandchildren, Elise Nicole Davis and Michael Hunter Long both of Memphis, TN; sister, Sandra Browning and husband, Bob Fowler of California; many nieces and nephews, also her aunt, Ellen Drake of Albuquerque. Colleen grew up in Las Vegas, NM, attended Las Vegas High School and Highlands University.She was married June 10, 1951 and moved to Albuquerque in 1958. She was a member of Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church and served as a Stephens Minister.We would especially like to thank Dr. Ampuero and his staff and the Anna Kaseman Hospital Hospice Staff for their loving care along with many friends and family for their love and support.
