Santiago (Jim) Baca, age 84, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2003. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Jeanette; two sons, Michael and Leonard; six grandchildren, Christopher, Brian, Daniel, Michelle, Leanne and Dillon. He was retired from Sears. He spent his retirement with friends playing racquetball and traveling with his family. He was proud to serve in World War II, stationed in the Alaskan, Aleutian Islands. He will be greatly missed. A Rosary will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2003. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, September 8, 2003, 10:00 a.m. also at Our lady of Guadalupe Church. Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. The family would like to thank all nurses, doctors and caregivers at Lovelace Hospital for the wonderful care and support given to Jim and his family.
