Melvin M. Sanchez, 67, left to be with the Lord after a long battle with lung disease on this day of September 3, 2003. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Josie S. Sanchez of Los Chavez, NM; his two loving children, Melvin George Sanchez, Jr. of Inglewood, CA, and Tammi Sanchez of Los Lunas, NM; two grandchildren, Melvin Sanchez, III and Phillip Daniel Sanchez. A viewing will be held on Friday, September 5, 2003 at Romero Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary following at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2003 at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. with interment following at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Cemetery.
