Cleve Whitehurst, 73, of Graham, TX died Monday, September 1, 2003 at Graham Regional Medical Center. Graveside Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 2003 at McBee Cemetery in Ovalo, TX. Viewing was held Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at Girdner Funeral Home in Abilene, TX. Mr. whitehurst was born April 20, 1939 in Iowa Park, TX to Clifton and Addie whitehurst. Cleve married Doris Holt on March 18, 1950. He retired from AMPI in 1990 in Albuquerque and moved to Graham in 1991. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Sadie O'Bar. Survivors include his wife, Doris; daughter, Wendy Higgins of Graham; son, rusty Whitehurst of Los Lunas, NM; two granddaughters, Nikki Higgins of Graham and Bobbi Higgins of runaway Bay; two grandsons, T.C. Higgins of Graham and Clayton whitehurst of Los Lunas, NM; two sisters, Dessie ray of Hawley, TX and Rita Lipham of Truby, TX; two brothers, Kenneth Whitehurst of Bradshaw, TX and Eugene whitehurst of Bradshaw, TX; several nieces and nephews; cousins and friends.
