 GARCIA, CARL XAVIER Carl Xavier Garcia was born on December 14, 1986 in Albuquerque to Jessica Garcia and Carl Duckworth. A self-proclaimed "Mama's Boy", Carl was a devoted son and loving brother, uncle and friend. All those who knew Carl were touched by his kindness, loyalty and generosity. Carl is survived by mother Jessica Garcia and stepfather Herbert Edmon; his father, Carl Duckworth; sister Myisha Garcia; nieces, Samaya and Imani; aunts, Lilly Garcia and Annette Montoya; his uncle, Ricky Montoya and many other uncles, aunts and cousins. A Rosary will be held at Daniels Funeral Home (3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE) on Thursday, February 19th at 6:00 pm. Funeral will be held on Friday, February 20th at 11:00 am at Oasis Family Church (7500 Montgomery Blvd. NE), interment immediately to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery (1900 Edith Blvd. NE). Serving as pallbearers: Miguel Angel Abreu, Deondrae Edmon, Damar Edmon, Daniel Lucero, Bobby Montoya and Isaiah Morgan. Honorary Pallbearers are: Shawn Minsey and Tamara Garcia.
