Obituary for MILLER

MILLER, KENNETH D. Age 85, passed away peacefully from an unexpected complication of pneumonia on January 9, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born in Washera County, WI to Jack and Edna (Dwight) Miller. He was raised on the family farm and later joined the US Army Air Corps and served most of his military service in Albuquerque. After four years of military service, he went to work for Coca Cola in Albuquerque and met and married Rosemary Halper. Kenneth worked as a salesman traveling the state of New Mexico and parts of Utah. He loved fishing and camping with his family and took pride in the catch of his life, Rose. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rosemary; children, Linda Humble and husband Rod of Durango, CO, Richard Miller and wife Kathy of Albuquerque, NM, Patty Kehoe and husband Tim of Albuquerque, NM, Ken Miller and wife Karen of McKinney, TX and Jackie Garrell and husband Sam of Albuquerque, NM; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother Raymond Miller and wife Shirley; sister Frances Therrien and husband Ed; and numerous other relatives and friends. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, brother Stan, two sisters Alice and Lilah and one grandson Justin Miller. Kenneth was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He will be greatly missed. An evening prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2015 at FRENCH Wyoming. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7999 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque with interment following.
