Obituary for ANAYA

ANAYA, MAXINE R. Maxine R. Anaya, 84, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 8, 2015. She was a Mayadorma at San Jose de Duranes for 20 years. She was also a member of the Blue Army. She took part in the Passion of Christ service at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church which is held on Good Friday. A tradition that was started by the Anaya Family. Maxine was born to Max Ramirez Sr. and Teresita Gonzales Ramirez on August 18, 1930. Maxine is preceded in death by her husband Jose F. Anaya Sr. and a son Raymond D. Anaya. She is survived by her loving children; Jose F. Anaya Jr. and wife Pauline, Jerry A. Anaya Sr. and wife Marlene and Rosemary K. Archuleta and husband Philip; 1 brother Max Ramirez Jr. and wife Rita; 2 sisters Margaret R. Sanchez and Becky Lovato; 13 grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends. Maxine will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Maxine's Life Celebration will begin with a Viewing on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at San Jose de Duranes Mission Church, 2110 Los Luceros NW, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. also at San Jose de Duranes. Burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Joshua Anaya, David Anaya, Adrian Sanchez, Dominic Archuleta, Jerry Anaya Jr., and Larry Anaya.
