 MARLOWE, GORDON W. 1938-2015 Gordon W. Marlowe, age 76, born on June 26, 1938 in Jackson, TN peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at his home in Belen, NM. He was a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force and a decorated Vietnam Veteran. Gordon owned businesses in construction and later in insurance. He loved flying and stared building sport planes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Vara Rise; and brothers, Steve Marlowe and Billy Rise. Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Rena Valdez Marlowe; brothers, Frank Demott and wife, Helen, Joe Rise and wife, Cathy, John Rise and wife, Karen; and sister-in-law, Patty Marlowe. He is also survived by his children, Chris Marlowe and wife, Genevieve, Vickie Marlowe, Scott Marlowe and wife, Robin; and 10 grandchildren. As per his wishes there will be no services for Gordon, but an informal Memorial Service will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
