 GARCIA, ROMELIA LAURA (ROMIE) Romie, age 82, went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on December 30, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph and son Stanley. She is survived by her brother, Raymundo Martinez, and sister Bessie Cano. Also her children, Reynaldo Garcia, Grace Marler and husband Don, Joseph Garcia and fiance Glyn Martinez, Georgia Madrid and husband Alex, Gerri Carrillo and husband George, Rose MacDougall and husband Albert, Patrick Garcia and fiance Jennifer; grandchildren, Mandy, Nicholas, Lorenzo, Aaron, Rebecca, Raul, Vanessa, Ernest, Michael, Heather, Amanda, Isaiah, Sarah; and numerous great- grandchildren. Romie spent the vast majority of her life in Jemez Springs being a wife, mother and homemaker. She and Joe were quite the social butterflies in the valley. They opened their home to anyone needing a place to stay. A memorial service will be held on January 14th, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Chapel Rio Rancho, 138 Frontage Road NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
