Obituary for EVERHART

EVERHART, JANICE KAY Age 60, passed away at home on December 15, 2014 after a long illness. Her courage and strength were an inspiration to all who knew her and to those who got to know her over her last years. The daughter of the late William and Virgie Everhart, she is survived by her longtime companion Paul Phelan of Albuquerque; her beloved sons Nicholas W Ferolie and Samuel L Ferolie of Phoenix, AZ; her brother James Everhart and wife Daisy of El Paso, TX; her sister Kim Keiser and husband Rick of Fayston, VT; sister Laurie Everhart & longtime companion Myke Yaple of Albuquerque; as well as all her nieces and nephews. Raised in Albuquerque she was a graduate of Manzano High School. After living in Phoenix for almost 20 years while raising her sons, she returned to Albuquerque a number of years ago. She was independently employed as a medical transcriptionist and more recently had done similar work for the local film industry. A wonderful, devoted mother and an absolutely beautiful woman in so many ways, she will be dearly missed by all of her family and many friends. Those of us who knew her are the fortunate ones. The family wishes to thank Presbyterian Hospice for their wonderful help and support in the recent months. A remembrance celebration will be held on Saturday, January 10th at 1:30 p.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd UCC, 7834 Tennyson St NE, 87122 in Albuquerque. Casual attire welcomed. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park at a later date.
