WEISLEDER, CHARLES Charles Weisleder, 80, a resident of Albuquerque died Friday, January 2, 2015. He was born on July 8, 1924 in Newark, NJ. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Weisleder; children, Edward Weisleder and wife Carolyn of San Angelo, TX, Laura Buffett and husband Brad of Durango, CO, Linda Lewis and husband Mike of Kemmerer, WY, Angela Farentinos and husband Steve of Torrance, CA and Elsa Brown of Houston, TX; 14 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Charles served two years as an officer in the US Army, including 16 months in Korea. He worked at Kirtland Air Force Base with the Naval Weapons Evaluation Facility for 26 years and retired from the Department of Defense in March 1990. After retiring, Charles was active with the New Mexico Shooting Sports Association, representing the association in Santa Fe during the legislative session. Memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Community Fellowship, 5905 Anaheim Ave NE with Pastor Bob Brown officiating.
