Marlon is survived by his mother, Olivia Aguilar; grandmother, Esther Aguilar of Artesia, NM; father, Elwyn Thompson; step-father, Greg Franklin; brother, Estevan Franklin; his daughters, Mya and Monique Thompson and their mother, Michelle Gallegos, son, Marlon Thompson Jr.; and step-son, Mario Tavasci, all of Albuquerque; godmother, Sandra Ramzy; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends from Albuquerque, Artesia, NM, Dallas, TX, Tucson, AZ, Denver, CO, Oklahoma, Memphis, TN, Kentucky, and El Paso, TX. Services will be held Monday, January 5, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at Calvary Chapel of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Rd. NE, with Pastor Eric Lamb officiating.
