VIGIL JR., MANUEL "TONY" Age 71, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 with his family and friends by his side. He was born in Santa Cruz, NM on January 3, 1943, to Manuel and Carmelita Vigil. He graduated from Santa Cruz High School and was a parts manager for thirty four years. Tony's hobbies were camping, fishing, drag racing and he enjoyed spending time with this family. He was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Sam Vigil, Emilio Vigil and Manuel Vigil, Lucita King, nephew; Allen King, Ben Maestas. Tony is survived by his wife of fifty four years Olimpia Vigil; children Manuel A. Vigil and his wife Debbie,Veronica Baca and husband Ken; siblings, Jose Vigil and Esther, Rose Martinez and Eppie, Alice Gallegos and Robert, Isabel Torres and Mary Montoya; grandchildren Michelle, Nick, Nolan and Garrett. The family would like to give a special thanks to all of the staff at Kindred Hospital and all the amazing doctors that helped Tony over the years and to all of the staff at Northside Fresenius Dialysis Clinic for all their special care over the years. Tony was a humble man who never spoke a bad word about anyone and he will be greatly missed by all that knew him. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel. A second Rosary will be recited Friday, January 9, 2015, 11:00 a.m. with Mass following, 12:00 noon, at Holy Cross (Santa Cruz de la Canada) Parish at 100 Church St, Santa Cruz, NM 87567.
