 WOOD, JAMES O. James O. Wood, 82, passed away at his home in Rio Rancho, NM on Friday, December 26, 2014. He was born on February 8, 1932 to Clarence Wood and Ola Smithers Wood in Tucumcari, NM. He is survived by his wife of 60 an a half years, Patricia "Patsy" Wood; sons David Wood and wife, Maria and Michael Wood and wife, Diane; daughter-in-law, Julie Wood Ferron and her husband, Craig; grandchildren, David, Stacie, Rodney, Timothy, Jimmie and wife, Niki, and Adam; great-granddaughter, Rylie; brother, Reverend Joel Wood and wife, Virginia along with extended family members and lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his youngest son, Patrick; his parents; brothers, Elmer and Glen, and sister, Ruth. Jim attended Tucumcari High School, class of 1951. He married Patsy McNally on May 22, 1954. In his spare time Jim enjoyed a game of pool or an afternoon of fishing, but his greatest love was spending time with his family. Cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at FRENCH-Rio Rancho.
