 JARDIS, HARRIET ANNE "KIT" age 69, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 after a long brave struggle with ALS, surrounded by her loving companion Bruce Childers and friends. She was born in Chicago, Illinois and was a longtime resident of Albuquerque. Kit was employed for twenty years at the Volkswagen Dealership and was a member of the Moose Lodge as well as the American Legion. She was preceded in death by her parents Harrison and Marie Martz. Kit is survived by her loving companion and personal caregiver Bruce Childers; daughters, Susan Crespin of Buckeye, AZ, Heather Martinez of Castle Rock, CO and Samantha Jardis of Alb.; sister, Maurene Boland of Schaumberg, IL; nephews, Jon Boland of CO and William Boland of IL; grandchildren, Jerry Crespin, Kailyn Crespin, Jenna Crespin, Larkin Martinez and Logan Martinez; as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. The family wishes to thank Gentiva Hospice for their loving care.
