CHRISTMAN, ROBERT C. Robert C. Christman passed away on Dec 18, 2014 after complications from a heart attack in Albuquerque, NM. He was 74. His wife Melanie Beekman,originally from Boyertown was by his side. He was born in Reading PA to the parents of G. Kenneth Christman and Florence B. Heil. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Melanie of Albuquerque; daughter Kelly Donovan of Murrells Inlet, SC; son Rob of Castle Pines, CO; daughter Laurie Sabik of Charlotte, NC; and four grandchildren. Also brother Kenneth J Christman and wife Charlotte of Wappenger Falls, NY; sister Barbara Yoder of Lake Jackson, TX. Bob graduated from Pottstown High School and received an associates degree in Power Plant Operation from Williamson Trade School in Media, PA. Bob spent 35 years working in the Industrial Controls industry in the NJ area. In 1968 he was involved in setting up the controls on the Nautilus, the first Atomic submarine in Groton, Conn. Bob leaves behind many friends and acquaintances and the family has honored his wishes of a cremation and no services.
