HANSCHE, HELEN B. Born March 31, 1914 in Binghamton, NY, died November 22, 2014 in Albuquerque. She came to Albuquerque in 1944, where she married George Hansche, who died in 2007. When her boys were young, she was active in Cub Scouts and PTA. She was a volunteer at Presbyterian Hospital Auxiliary for over 25 years, and served as State President of that organization. She was a member of Charles Dibrell Chapter of DAR, and of Pan American Round Table. Until recently she was an active member of Chapter AN, PEO. She resided at Brookdale Place at Valencia for the last eight years of her life. She is survived by two sons: Bruce and wife Chris, and Brian and wife Margi, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband and one grandchild. A memorial service will be held at Brookdale, 300 Valencia SE, Albuquerque on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. We will all miss her very much!
