CHERRY, RAE F. 1936-2014 Rae F. Cherry, age 77, a resident of Jarales, NM passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2014. She was a member of People Living Through Cancer. Rae enjoyed volunteering at the Fire Departments in Jarales, Pueblitos, and Bosque. She had many different skills such as an IV Tech, Telephone Operator for Mountain Bell, Parts Manager for Caldwell Banker, and Domestic Engineer. Rae was an avid motorcyclist. She enjoyed camping, water skiing and boating with her family, roaming the hills, and traveling with her husband, John and their children. Her most enjoyable hobbies were quilting, arts & crafts of all different kinds, and baking. She was preceded in death by her husband and soul mate of 40 years, John W. Cherry; parents, Leason H. and Helen E. Rauser Brown; and brother, Leason Brown. Rae is survived by her loving children, Robert Cherry, Lisa Miller and companion, Ben, John M. Cherry and wife, Beth, Del Cherry and wife, Brenda and Debbie Cherry; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Dottie Williams and companion, Robert Ross. She is also survived by a large loving extended family. A Funeral Service will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 29th at 2:30 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
