DENKLER, MICHAEL LAWRENCE Age 47, resident of Los Lunas, NM since 2008, died November, 10, 2014. He is survived by his life partner, Nancy J. Sankovic of Los Lunas, NM; Daughter, Sarah Denkler of Las Vegas, NV, Sister, Heather Angus of Elizabethtown, KY; Father, Roger Denkler of Louisville KY; and Mother, Patricia Benningfield of Elizabethtown, KY. Michael earned a BS in Computer Science from Chapman University, Los Angeles, CA in 2000 and an MS in Computer Science from DePaul University, Chicago, IL in 2007. He was proud to have served in USAF for 11 years and 3 years as a reservist. His last 4 years were spent as a civilian computer scientist for the USAF. He was an accomplished musician, and a lover of nature. Viewing is scheduled on Tuesday, November 18th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. A Memorial Service will be held at Kirtland Air Force Base Chapel on Wednesday, November 19th at 10:00 am, followed by a burial at 2:15 pm at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 North Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, NM 87501. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Albuquerque Diabetes Association, and flowers will be accepted at French Mortuary.
