BRUNACINI, JAMES James Brunacini peacefully passed away Oct 20th, 2014 at the age of 99. He was born in Pennsylvania. He began raising his family in New York and later moved his family to New Mexico in the 1950's where he and his wife, Mayme owned Brunacini Appliances. They built the business into one of the leading retail appliances stores in the southwest. He loved traveling and made it a mission to visit every state in the union. He loved to hunt and fish with his family. He was also one of the leading thoroughbred breeders in the state, being the owner of his cherished stallion, "Prospector Jones", who was the leading thoroughbred stallion in New Mexico for many years. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, George, and his siblings Della, Mary, Emma, Sam, John and Charlie. He is survived by his brother Joe; sister Rose; his widow Mayme; daughter JoAnn; and sons Jim and Richard. He has 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His final resting place will be at Gates of Heaven Cemetery next to his son, George. He was very respected and loved because of his honesty and integrity. He will be sadly missed.
