SMITH, JERRY L. Age 77, died on Thursday October 16th, 2014. Jerry was a well-respected business man and loved member of the Albuquerque community. Jerry was an owner of a local Albuquerque business since 1962, a passionate musician, an avid fly fisherman, loving husband, father, grandfather and a generous friend to many. Born February 25th, 1937 in Weatherford, Texas, he lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico since the early 1950's. Survivors include his wife Debbie Smith and her children; his daughters Laurie Aragon and husband Mark, Linda Byrne and husband Tom, Deborah Debbs and husband Tracy; 5 grandchildren, Joshua Aragon, Spencer Aragon, Patrick Byrne, Samantha Byrne and Travis Debbs. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Jane Smith and his parents Lloyd Smith and Mamie Sue Smith. Services will be held 2:30pm on Thursday October 23rd 2014 at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 114 Carlisle Blvd SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico. A private burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
