Obituary for HARTENBERGER

HARTENBERGER, FLORANNA H. Age 92, passed away September 29, 2014 in Albuquerque after a brief illness. She was born in Ft. Collins, CO and while a child the family moved to Corvallis, OR where she completed her education and her studies of the violin. Floranna was 1st chair in the Oregon State Symphony and also played in the Ft. Wayne, IN Civic Symphony and in the Amarillo, TX Symphony. She and her husband, Martin, lived in Amarillo, Wichita, KS, and Albuquerque. Floranna is survived by her children, Ronald Hartenberger, Harriet Wynne-Jones and husband, Nicholas, Dave Hartenberger and wife, Carol, Jonathan Hartenberger and wife, Lynn, Timothy Hartenberger and wife, Dayle Ann, Joan McColm and husband, John; 16 grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; her sister, Ruth Roschke; her brother, Arnold Secher and wife, Phyllis; and many other family and numerous friends. A Memorial Service will be Friday, October 17, 2014, 2:30 p.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Cedar Crest with the Rev. Michael Feuer officiating. Private entombment will take place at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of New Mexico for their compassionate care and her church families for their prayers, support and love.
