 CHAVEZ, ADA B. Age 87, beloved and devout wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 2, 2014, with her family at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Chavez and grandson, Angelo Chavez. Ada is survived by her nine children, Kathleen Chavez, Olivia Diaz, Claudia Gonzales and husband, Lawrence, Anna Sanchez and husband, Sam, Barbara Rios and husband, Rick, Chuck Chavez, Dianne Troyer, Dominic Chavez and Diana Armijo, Leroy Chavez and wife, Beth; 27 grandchildren; 23 great- grandchildren; brother, Dennis Baca and sister Dolores Armijo. Ada and her husband Charles were founding members of St. Anne's Catholic Church and were also in the Altar and Rosary Society as well as the church choir. Her family will miss the wonderful meals as well as life lessons she shared. Pallbearers will be: Gabriel Ulibarri, Robert C. Diaz, Miguel Lueras, Aaron Springer, Alfredo Rios and Wesley Chavez. Honorary pallbearers will be all remaining grandchildren and great grandchildren. A viewing will be held from 8:00-8:30 a.m. on Monday, October 6, at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal, SW with a rosary to be recited at 8:30 a.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary's School Fund, 324 7th St. NW, Albuquerque, NM, 87102.
