Obituary for DEMOLLI

DEMOLLI, FRANK A. SR. Frank A. Demolli, age 83, passed peacefully on Saturday, September 20, 2014 due to a massive stroke. He was born in Rockford, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, Angelina and Frank Demolli. He leaves his wife of 63 years, Joan; his children Frank (Naomi), Joe, Patricia Anderson (Dana), Susan Hamel (Bill), Duane (Jan), Carol Barbarow (Dan), Dan (Mary), Dawn Fowler (Russ); 12 grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends in the Rockford area. He spent 27 years in the Air Force and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant. He received his bachelor's degree from Colorado State University in Pueblo, Colorado. He was active in the Boy Scouts, the American Society of Safety Engineers, and the Volksport Walking Club. He never missed watching his favorite football team, the Broncos. He also enjoyed playing and teaching board games and cards to his children and grandchildren. During and after his years in the military, he and his family lived in many states and overseas, retiring in Albuquerque, NM. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
