 GALINDRO, PABLO We would like to thank family and friends for coming out and saying their final farewell to Pablo Galindro on Sept 29, 2014, who was one of the few remaining WWII veterans. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather; but was also a proud member of the 82nd Airborne. This man jumped during the Operation Overlord on D-day, fought behind enemy lines for our country in Operation Market Garden which was called "Bridge too Far", as well as fighting in the " Battle of the Bulge". He was awarded the Bronze Star for Valor and the Belgian Croix de Gurre Fourragerre among other numerous other citations. This WWII Veteran will be solely missed not only by his family but by all those who knew him and were touched by his magnificent stories.
