TORRES, TOMAS E. age 75, (El Charro De Nuevo Mexico) born in Chilili, New Mexico and a resident of Peralta, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, Thursday, September 25, 2014. Mr. Torres is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Terry; his loving daughter, Terri Torres; son, Tomas Torres Jr.; brother, Eddie Torres; seven sisters, Lydia Flores and husband, Larry, Sally Sedillo, Mary Garcia and husband, Hector, Lucille Aragon and husband, Samuel, Gloria Rhodes and husband, Bob, Vicki Nieto and husband, Manuel, Louise Maestas; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Torres was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Morima Torres; brothers, Wilfred Torrez, and Joe J. Torres. Mr. Torres was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved to be around his family, horses and rodeos and also loved music and enjoyed singing. Visitation will be Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 3:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, Pastor Lucille Aragon, presider.
