 SARGENT, MARTHA C. Martha (Marti) Catherine Sargent (nee Skidmore and MacPhail) joined her late beloved husband, Marvin, and her wonderful parents, Frank and Jimmie Skidmore early on Sept. 14th. Martha was very proud to be the first female loan officer in New Mexico. She was a bank Vice-President, Underwriter and Loan Officer in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Farmington, Denver and Hawaii. She also whipped up amazing pies, cookies and fudge! Martha was a 1954 graduate of Highland High School in Albuquerque. Martha had a sharp wit and was a terrific mother to her only daughter, Tracy Weisert and her husband Brian Piatek of Los Angeles. She was also a loving grandmother to Marina Weisert and her fiance Jeff Moestretti and to Melanie Weisert of Albuquerque. "Mamaw" was especially adored by her 6 year old great-grandson Jayden (Melanie). Many thanks for the love and care of her wonderful sisters, Beth Skidmore of Rio Rancho, Francine Pawley and her husband, Bob of Albuquerque, Jeannie Rexroat and her husband Al of Harvard, IL and Dorie Skidmore of Albuquerque and their families. Special thanks to Martha's niece Jimmie Lou Thompson and husband Bobby of Rio Rancho for their help. Martha had family and friends that she loved all across the country.
