 DE LA FUENTE, ANNEMARIE Annemarie peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014. She had been battling complications following an open heart surgery several months prior. Annemarie was born on April 9, 1942 in Llay-llay, Chile. She was a physical therapist for 44 years at Lovelace Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After retiring she and her husband moved to San Diego to be near their kids and enjoy the coast. She found joy in helping other people, beading, knitting, cooking and painting. Annemarie is survived by her husband, Pedro De la Fuente; children, Eduardo and Rita De la Fuente; sister, Elisabeth Alexander; her dog, Louie and a large community of family and friends that miss her very much. Services will be held at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in San Diego, CA on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM.
