CHAVEZ, ROBERT L. age 60, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014. Robert is survived by his sons, Robert J. Chavez Jr. and wife, Miranda , Louie J. Chavez and wife, Andrea, Dominic J. Chavez and wife, Suzanne; his mother, Nancy Garcia; the mother of his children, Rosemary Sandoval and husband, Paul; sister, Yolanda Chavez; five brothers, David G. Chavez and wife, JoAnn, Antonio Alirez and wife, Stella, Demetrio Alirez and wife, Connie, Carlos Alirez, Mark Garcia and wife, Laura; five grandchildren and one on the way, Eric, Corina, Alexia, Dominic ll, Kimberly; pets, Jacob and Snowy; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Monday, August 25, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph Ave.NW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Monsignor Lambert Luna, presider. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David G. Chavez, Antonio Alirez, Demetrio Alirez, Mark Garcia, Rudy Garcia, Mervin Sanchez.
