 FERNOW, MARTHA F. Age 90, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014. Martha was born in Inman, Kansas on April 21, 1924. She is survived by children, son, Douglas Fernow and his life companion Becky Harrison of Los Lunas and Becky's sons, Steven and Kristopher Harrison of Albuquerque; son, Thomas Fernow of Albuquerque; daughter, Linda Sumski and husband, Terry of St Louis, MO; and son-in-law, Lee Dominguez of Rio Rancho. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fernow; daughter, Deborah Dominguez and son, Charles Fernow. Martha began a career in Kansas with Ford Motor Company. After falling in love with the mountains and moving to Albuquerque in 1956, she continued her career as bookkeeper for Mack Truck until she retired in 1978. Before her health declined, Martha enjoyed gardening or assisting the women's group at her church. She will be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held for her at 11:00 am on Friday, August 22, 2014 at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 5301 Ponderosa Avenue NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St Andrew Presbyterian Church in her name.
