Obituary for CAZASSUS

CAZASSUS, MATTHEW Age 40, a resident of Albuquerque for 17 years, died Saturday, August 16, 2014 after battling cancer for the last nine months. He is survived by his wife and partner of 17 years, Mary Bailey; mother, Bernice Boski; brother, Raymond Cazassus; nephews, Giovanni Cazassus and Ryan Bailey; mother-in-law, Pam Wilson; and numerous other relatives and friends. Matthew was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Cazassus; and brother, Anthony Cazassus. He was born in 1973 in Easton, PA and after moving to Albuquerque was highly regarded by co-workers and friends at CPC Logistics. He was an avid fisherman, dog-walker, and chef. Matt excelled at providing for and loving Mary and was a devoted husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his family to help defray many of the medical and funeral expenses.
