BOATMUN, BILL NEWELL Bill Newell Boatmun A.K.A. Bill McIntosh Age 72, died at Stillwater Medical Center in Oklahoma on Saturday, August 9, 2014 after a brief illness. He leaves his beloved wife of 32 years, Wanda (Hogue) Boatmun. His benevolent heart, positive spirit and infectious humor touched the hearts of all who knew him. Bill was born October 24, 1942 in Oklahoma City. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1962, receiving a Good Conduct Medal in 1960 in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. He received a degree in Architectural Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1968. After graduation he moved to Albuquerque, NM and worked as an engineer for Sandia National Laboratories (1968-1997). After retirement he moved to Stillwater, OK to be closer to his children and grandchildren. On Wednesday, August 13, 2014, he will be laid to rest in the Combs/McIntosh Cemetery.
