RANDALL, ROBERT A. "BOB" Mr. Robert A. Randall "Bob", 86, went home to be with the Lord Saturday morning, July 26, 2014. He was born in Grandfield, Oklahoma and attended high school in Ahpeatone. He moved to Albuquerque in 1955, where he retired as a staff member of Engineering Physics at Sandia National Laboratories after 30 years of service. He graduated from Oklahoma University in 1950. While at OU, he won the Toulmin Gold Medal for writing in Physics. He served as an officer in the United States Air Force, where he piloted KC - 97 aircraft, with the 303rd Air-Refueling Squadron. He loved being a pilot and was a member of a flying club. He loved traveling with his family and flew as much as possible. He loved the Lord and was a long time member of Hoffmantown Church where he served as a deacon, Sunday School Class teacher, and served on various committees over the years. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, JoAnn; daughter, Ruth Ann Martin and husband, Wil; son, James (Jamey) Randall and wife, Karen; and 6 grandchildren, Randy Martin and wife Brie, Becca Gullett and husband David, Jason Randall, Eric Randall, Brianna Bermudez and Cole Bermudez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hobert and Rose Randall of Grandfield, Oklahoma. Services in celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming, led by Pastor Dale Coffing. Private burial, with military honors will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
