 CONTRERAS, ARTHUR A. SR. age 66, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away, Sunday, July 20, 2014. Mr. Contreras is survived by his wife, Joanne; children, Arthur Contreras Jr., and wife, Monica, Shannon Armijo and husband, Will J., Ashley Herrera and husband, Joey, and Jessica Sanchez; sisters, Sara Cruz and husband, Dennis and Thelma Garcia and Mike; brother, John (Scotty) Contreras; grandchildren, Sonjia, Simon, Starlynn, Jasmine, Lilyana, and Analiese; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Contreras was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Braulia Contreras; sister, Jean Hernandez. Visitation will be Thursday, July 24, 2014 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Friday, July 25, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m., Pastor Gary Russell, presider. Interment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Baca, Dennis Cruz, David Cordova, Art Sanchez, Scotty Contreras, and Peter Espinosa.
