 JACOBY, WILLIAM ROBERT William Robert Jacoby was a resident of Floresville, Texas, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014, at 5:43 A.M., at his residence, at the age of 78 years, 4 months, 20 days. William was born February 24, 1936, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of Robert Jacoby and Lenore Norfleet Jacoby. William faithfully worked in civil service for many years, and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, during the Korean War. William married Jo Ann Fillmore on March 25, 1955 in San Antonio, Texas. William is survived by his beloved wife of over fifty-nine years, Jo Ann Jacoby of Floresville; his four sons, William Dean Jacoby and wife Elizabeth of Floresville, Texas, Dale Wayne Jacoby and wife Debbie of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Darren Wilson Jacoby of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and James David Jacoby of Albuquerque, New Mexico; his twelve grandchildren; and his fifteen great-grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lenore Jacoby. Visitation began at 5:00 P.M., Thursday, followed by the Funeral service at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Vinyard Funeral Home Chapel in Floresville, Texas, officiated by Pastor Mark Briggs. Graveside services, with military honors, were held at 11:00 A.M.
