SARGENT, LEA (MARSHALL) Age 81, passed away peacefully in her home in Albuquerque, NM on Wednesday, July 9, 2014. Lea was born in Gregton, Texas on February 27, 1933. Lea's family relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico when she was three years old. Lea was witty, intelligent, creative, and a savvy business owner and operator. During Lea's professional career, she owned and managed Onnie's Turf Lounge with Ralph Marshall and later owned and managed Nu-Lea's Lounge with Gordon Sargent. She was an active member and president of the WAABIs, Women Association of Allied and Beverage Industry. Most recently, she was retired and enjoyed working in her yard, decorating her house, cooking, and crocheting. She is survived by her daughter Karen Klar (Eric) of Albuquerque, and her son Ricky Ingram (Linda) of Hanford, CA. Lea was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Marshall and her second husband, Gordon Sargent; her mother and father, Jewel and Felton Clements; sisters, Marty Kinstedt and Betty Emerson.
