 BROOKS, BETTY Age 85, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Beth Stewart and husband Bill; her son, Bart; daughter-in-law, Valerie; brothers-in-law, Don and wife Rose and Carl and wife Mary Jane; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Bob; her son, Bob; her parents, Earl and Vista; and her sister-in-law, Jean. Betty was a member of Netherwood Park Church of Christ for over 60 years. She devoted thousands of hours to volunteer work both church and non-church related. Ever humble, she did not realize how many people at church knew, admired and loved her. She influenced many by her Christian example. Betty enjoyed spending time with her kids and reading, gardening, cooking and travel. Pursuant to Betty's wishes, no public ceremony is scheduled.
