SANDOVAL, EDWARD T. "ED" was born April 23, 1951 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. Ed enjoyed watching wrestling, listening to his favorite music and having photos taken. His family stated "He lived for the moment". Ed will be remembered for his great sense of humor, always joking, laughing and being playful. As well, he enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles. He is survived by his wife Connie; two children: son, Gabriel Sandoval and wife Stephanie and daughter, Desiree Sandoval; four step-children, Elizabeth Gutierrez and husband Joseph, Joseph Baca and wife Jan, Patricia Lucero and husband Frankie and Amanda Lucero; nine grandchildren; five brothers, Gilbert, Jerry, Steve, Teddy and David; four sisters, Rosalie, Becky, Elaine and Lisa; as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd. in Rio Rancho, on Wednesday, July 9, 2014. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00am followed by a Mass of Christian burial. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. in Albuquerque. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 29194th St. NW. ABQ. 505-34-8008
