 PADILLA, ERNIE Ernie Padilla, age 51, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona on October 14, 1962 and was a resident of Los Lunas since 1974. He loved the outdoors, walking, and time with his family. He was adored by his nieces and nephews and everyone who knew him, could tell you stories of his kindness. He was preceded in death by his father, Eloy Padilla Sr., nephews Michael Montiel and baby Jaime Andujo. Ernie is survived by his mother Rosemary Padilla; his brother Eloy Padilla and his wife Hue; his brother Sam Padilla; sister Yolanda Vialpando and her husband Mike; his sister Barbara Chambers and her husband Norman; brother Troy Padilla and his wife Tammy; his sister Marcy Gonzales and her husband Mike; and many loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 6:00 PM at the Westside Family Chapel in Los Lunas, 601 Main St. NE, 505-866-0621. Arrangements are being handled by Riverside Funeral Home of Los Lunas, 505-565-1700.
