 COX, EARL JAMES "JIM"  Age 87, peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife Christina (Lopez) Cox. Jim is survived by four children. Victor Cox, James Cox, William Cox and Sally Hardy; three grandchildren, Jason Cox and William and Carly Hardy; and one great-grandson Austen Cox. An Honor Guard Memorial Service will be held this Friday, May 16, 2014 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. We invite all that knew and loved Jim to come and join us. Jim and Christina raised their family in the small mountain community of Los Alamos, NM. It was the perfect place for him. He loved being outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Jim was employed by the Los Alamos Nuclear Laboratories for 40 years until his retirement. All that knew him will forever cherish their memories of his loving and caring nature, along with his big smile and a quick wit.
