SELVA, LAWRENCE L. JR. Age 89, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014. He was born on November 10, 1924 to Lawrence L. and Mary (Campo) Selva of Albuquerque, NM. A member of the Greatest Generation, he proudly served our country in the US Army. He was a renaissance man, a jack of all trades and master of most, an extraordinarily gifted storyteller, mentor, friend, confidante. He retired from being a lineman and was a 65 year member of IBEW Local 611. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie G. Selva; brothers, Ralph H. Selva and Charles J. Selva; sisters, Norma S. Jackson and Eugenia Rendance. Mr. Selva is survived by his nieces and nephews: Kathryn D. Berkebile, Jeff Jackson, Stan Selva, Charles Jackson, Lawrence Brad Selva, Jennifer Buffington, Matthew Rendace, Cole Selva, and Mitchell Rendace; and dear friend, Enrique Colon. Viewing and Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2014 and Daniels Family Funeral Services, Strong-Thorne Chapel, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM. Following the Viewing and Visitation, the Rosary and Service will be held. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
