CHAVEZ, JULIA G. age 90, born in Colonias, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014. Mrs. Chavez is survived by her children, Freddie Chavez and wife, Annabell, James R. Chavez, Patsy Montoya and Jose Arellano; daughter in law, Denise Chavez; sister, Corina Rosales and husband, Marcos; sister in law, Fita Caro and husband, Juan; eleven grandchidlren; thirty great grandchildren; many nieces, nepnews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Chavez was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Chavez; and son, Eugene Chavez. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE from 8:00 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 8:15 a.m.; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Santino Chavez, Mike Meyer, Roddy Chavez, Freddy Chavez, George Montoya and Marcus Montoya.
