ELLIS, IOLA D. Age 82, a resident of Los Angeles, CA since 1965, died March 12, 2014. Iola was born and grew up in Albuquerque, NM, the daughter of Cristobal and Acacio Gallegos. Her dear sister and lifelong companion, Amanda Gallegos, preceded her in death May 3, 2012. Iola was married to Oscar L. Ellis Sr. who passed on April 1, 1991. She is survived by her son, Oscar L. Ellis Jr. and many beloved family members and friends. Memorial Services will be held Friday, April 25, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at FRENCH Wyoming. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
