WRIGHT, ROSE H. Age 92 passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Crestview Court in Cedar Hill, TX. Rose was born June 11, 1921 on the family farm near Slayton, MN to Harry and Effie (Anderson) Johnson. She attended the University at Minneapolis for 2 years then headed to Pendleton, OR. There she met and married Don D. Wright. At the time the war was on and they both worked on the railroad. In 1948 they moved to Albuquerque, NM for health reasons for Don. In 1955 they adopted a baby girl and named her Maxine, after Don's sister. Rose was a Campfire Girl Leader for five years, she was very active in her church and she drove a school bus for handicapped children. Rose was a people person and could make a friend standing in line at the store. Rose is survived by her daughter Maxine and husband Chris; two grandsons, Neal (wife Kim) and Daron (wife Linh); and four great grandsons, Edric, Max, Matthew, and Joseph. She is preceded in death by her parents; both brothers, Rollie and Don; and sister Delora and husband Don Wright. Friends may visit on Monday, March 31, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM. Memorial service will held on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Sombra Del Monte Christian Church, 2525 Vermont St. NE Albuquerque, NM.
