STOVALL, DORIS HAZEL (LOEWEN) Jan 28, 1928 - Jan 29, 2014 Doris went home to be with Jesus on January 29, 2014. She was born January 28, 1928 to Reuben and Cecil (Hamm) Loewen in Dalhart, TX. Doris fell in love with and married a cute Army Air Corps Captain named Virgil Stovall in 1946. They lived in Dalhart, TX where they had two children and then moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1956. Doris loved the Lord, her family and bowling. She was married for 56 wonderful years. They lived in Albuquerque until the death of her husband in 2002 and then she moved to Alamogordo in 2003 to be with her son and his family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Cecil; infant grandson, Sean David Stovall; husband, Virgil; brother, Herman (Sonny). Doris is survived by daughter, Janie Powell and her husband Lu Powell and their two daughters, Kim Kupec and her husband, Tom Kupec; Michele Thomas and her husband Brian; son Mickey Stovall and his wife Sonya Stovall and their two sons, Joshua Stovall and Douglas Stovall; her sister Vennie Munsell. She also had nine great-grandchildren that she dearly loved. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on March 22, 2014 at 11:00 am at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel in Albuquerque, NM.
