 BACA, JENNIFER R. age 35, passed away March 17,2014, with her family beside her. Her strength and perseverance during her battle with an extremely rare and aggressive cancer was admired by all. Jennifer devoted her life to her family and her students. She was passionate about making a difference in the lives of hundreds of children and families in her career as a teacher. Her sweetness, caring, understanding, and patience attributed to her being a wonderful mother and person. Jennifer touched everyone that knew her. She is survived by two loving, beautiful children, Kaleah, age 13 and Attyana, age 6; her mother, Carolyn Aragon; father, Michael G. Gutierrez; her grandmother, Jean Seibert; stepfather, Richard Haber; brother, Michael S. Gutierrez and his wife, Marlo; sister, Stephanie Gutierrez; a loving and devoted fiancee, Jeff Montano; aunts and uncles, Jeff and Ann Lewellen, Kathy and Steve Bailey, Kevin and Yvonne Koval, Robert and Margaret Zamora as well many cousins and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Jennifer R. Baca memorial fund at the US New Mexico Federal Credit Union to help in education of her two daughters.
