PAQUIN, VERLENE REED MOORE Verlene was born on April 5th, 1921 in Manassa, CO, and passed away on February 19th in Salmon Creek, WA. She was resident of Battle Ground, WA for 11 years, the last 7, at Mallard Landing. Preceded in death by father, Franklin Reed, mother Capitola Vance Reed of Sanford, CO, husbands Keith Smith Moore Villa Grove, CO, Howard Joseph Paquin, Elephant Butte, NM, son-in-law Marshall Elliott, WA, G-daughter Cari Lynn Elliott, NM, sister Clefaine Reed King, AZ, brothers Oreland Reed, CO, Normand Reed, NM. Mother of Garry Keith Moore, Bountiful, UT, and Paula Paquin Elliott, Brush Prairie, WA, grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 67. In 1943 she and Garry moved to Albuquerque, NM after the death of her first husband Keith, in 1946 married Howard. Verlene taught Cosmetology for 25 years at DeWolf's Beauty College, Albuquerque, NM. When Howard and Verlene both retired, they moved to Elephant Butte, NM, where they lived for over 22 years, until Howard passed away in 1992, she moved to Battle Ground, WA to be near to daughter Paula. A "Celebration of Verlene's Life" was held in Highland, UT, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on March 1st, she was laid to rest on March 3rd in the Sanford Cemetery, Sanford, CO. Verlene is a beloved wife, wonderful mom, terrific grandma and the best GG ever. She will be missed by all that knew her."Until we meet again".
