Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday March 02, 2014

MORISI, BRUNO DENNIS Bruno Morisi, age 72, died on December 5, 2013 after a brief but gritty battle with cancer. He is survived and forever loved by his wife, Martha Chase Morisi; his son Kevin D. Morisi (Maureen); grandson Jacob Morisi (Tracy); and great-grandson Hunter Morisi, of Plymouth and Marshfield, Massachusetts, respectively. He also leaves one sister Diane Morisi (Dave) of Weymouth, MA; brother Alton Morisi of Hernando, FL; special aunt Alba Merada of Plymouth, MA; his loving cousin Charlene Roderiguez (Charles) of Dighton, MA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is greatly missed by his adoring dog, Vito. Bruno was a master technician for Mercedes Benz, specializing in restoration and repair of the older vehicles, including highline European cars such as Rolls Royces, BMW's, Porsches and Audis. He had a thriving business in Newton, MA for many years prior to moving to New Mexico. He could fix almost anything mechanical and tried unsuccessfully to keep his talents a secret from his neighbors. Of course, the word spread and he was kept very busy! When asked for help, he always lent a hand, often displaying a gruff exterior when he truly had a tender heart and enjoyed helping others. Bruno was a very loyal friend; when he loved you it was forever. Bruno was a caring, thoughtful, empathic person to his friends and family. We will all miss Bruno's friendship, ongoing curiosity and humor. He will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held in Massachusetts in March, 2014
